Following the release of the Wii U Virtual Console, Microsoft has officially revealed the console’s XBLA price, revealing that the game will cost $39.99 across its various regions. The announcement follows up yesterday’s announcement that the Wii Virtual Console would be making a comeback this Thursday.

The XBLA price is essentially the same as what Wii owners have been paying for a Virtual Console game, giving Wii owners something to show for the VC release. The price will be $29.99 for Nintendo and Virtual Console fans in the UK and EMEA, $39.99 for North American buyers, and $49.99 for people in Japan and Australia.
