You can use an ssh agent to get your public and private keys logged into your Ubuntu system. If you have an already set up ssh agent, you can get public and private keys using the “get-ssh-public-keys” and “get-ssh-private-keys” commands.

The usage of this script is quite simple, you just need to press the “NewPassKey” button to open the user interface where you can enter your old and new passkey.

How to Use

Ubuntu and Debian

The “install” command is used in Ubuntu and Debian. In fact, it’s been developed specifically for them and works exactly the same way as the “make” command.

Just run:

$ passkeychanger –install

And it will ask you to replace the old password with a new one.

Run as root:

$ sudo passkeychanger –install

Also, you can use the script that is in “usr/share/passkeychanger”. You can specify the torrent file to replace the password with. This way, you don’t have to run the script as root. In the script, you can also choose to exclude just a single torrent in your exclusion list.

Otherwise, you can use the “newpasskey” command that is used by default in Ubuntu.

Arch Linux

The “install” command is used in Arch Linux:

$ passkeychanger –install

And it will ask you to replace the old password with a new one.

Run as root:

$ sudo passkeychanger –install

You can also use the script that is in “usr/share/passkeychanger”. The usage is the same as above.

Fedora

Install a software bundle called “pkext” from the Fedora Extras repository. Run:
