We love candied walnuts because they are a great party snack, they are simple, and they take only one bowl and one pot to make. Also they’re healthy and they’re sweetened with raw honey.
To make this recipe you will need to do a little prep work ahead of time. So first you need to shell the walnuts and then, to make the marinated filling, you will need to create a paste with the almond and walnut flour, honey and sesame oil.
To cook the candied walnuts, you will need to start by prepping the raw walnuts. Lay them out on a sheet of parchment paper and put them in the oven for around five minutes, or until they become crisp. Then, take them out and let them cool.
For the marinated filling, combine the almond flour, cinnamon, ginger, honey, walnuts and sesame oil in a bowl. Mix them together to form a paste.
Now comes the fun part: you can either bake the candied walnuts in a muffin mold. Add the marinated filling and then bake them for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. The oven timing is important,
