Stinger : With the growing awareness of mental health issues, the larger community wants to be part of this cause by encouraging prevention and early intervention.

A LifeEnrichment Program, in tandem with FHN Phoenix, is offering free life-saving Suicide Awareness and Prevention (SAAS) training July 28-30 for adults and children 18 years old and under.

Stinger started in March 2017 with a mission to provide individuals from within the community with the knowledge and tools needed to identify warning signs and how to take the first steps in prevention for suicide.

Stinger is funded by the Arizona Department of Health Services, the Arizona Center for Suicide Prevention, and the Phoenix Police Department.

Stinger’s goal is to provide people from all walks of life with the knowledge and skill to protect themselves from suicide by leveraging the most effective and available resources, from the police, health care professionals, schools and faith communities.

“We want to make sure it’s accessible to all people,” said Kirsten Dooley, co-founder of Stinger. “We want to make sure the message is being delivered in the right language, and get people to recognize that there are multiple signs that someone may be feeling suicidal, and that they’re not at the stage where they need to act immediately

    MISSION

    1. At the launch of the spacecraft the air ship was devastated.
