The world of Lites is governed by the Prism. The Prism is a strange place where magic and technology are struggling to coexist. Magic is held in high esteem and often used to solve problems. This is the land of mythical beasts, and great warriors. However, there are many dangers lurking in the shadows. The Avatar is a skilled warrior. It is the pinnacle of his craft, as he is responsible for the well-being of the Prism. The Avatar is bound to the Prism until the day he decides to leave. It is his duty to protect the Prism, and the people that live there.
You are a new recruit to the world of Lites. You are soon to discover your mystical abilities and charm of you with the Prism through various quests.
Characters:
You will play as the Avatar. You are tasked to protect the Prism. Throughout the journey you will make choices that will change how the Avatar will play. There are also other characters that the Avatar will have to interact with. They are:
Mylara: A smart and lively girl with mystical powers.
Raeanne: A quiet, odd, but caring girl with a selfless spirit.
Tusk: A funny, grunting beast who can be quite helpful in battle.
Bitter: A lonely yet serious young boy.
Aurora: A caring, yet sometimes clueless girl who loves watching the night sky. She also has the ability to control the mystical powers of the night.

Even though it’s a slightly more action oriented game, I’m a big fan of platformers! I mostly play it to relax, but I did enjoy it.
The game is not perfect but I think it is my best work to date. Hope you enjoy!

A New Zealand computer programmer has created a website aimed at encouraging people to cut down on the amount of time they spend online.
Robert McGregor, from the town of Blenheim, posted the site on Saturday as an experiment.
Mr McGregor’s website, switchoff.nz, is asking people to document when they last turned off their computer.
He says he believes the amount of time that people are spending on the web is too long.
Mr McGregor, 33, says that he tried to install a simple text-only web page on his own web server, but then realised that he could not get it to function properly.
So he decided to ask users of the BBC website to help him by posting a short message when they last turned off their computer.
Mr McGregor says he has now received hundreds of messages from around the world – both from people in New Zealand and from people from as far away as India, Malaysia and Australia.

Local elections have been winnable, according to Acting President Ursula Hall.
This has been the message from the Australian National Redcliffe Coastlands (ANRC) as residents staged the country’s first wave of local elections last Saturday.
“We talk all the time about the ones who do the speaking for us not the ones who are really the power that gets in our way,” Ms Hall said.
“Local Council is so local that the local people are running local Council.
“We have local election and local decision-making coming down the road.
“The Australians recognise that we are coming to town.”
While the majority of Australia’s 384 electoral regions are led by independents, smaller political parties have made gains in recent years.
ACT leader Andrew Barr made headlines after leaving the Liberal Party in 2012, while Queensland’s Lara Giddings leads the party, Independence Party of Australia.
A cross-party electoral threat in state elections in South Australia, WA and Tasmania has also been seen in the past five years.

Ms Hall said local Council would benefit residents and workers if seats returned to an independent form of government in Redcliffe.
“The election is winnable,” Ms Hall said.

Ms Hall is also the president of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Redcliffe and was a chief sub-divisional officer at Wayne Shire Council.
She says she’realises the personal cost of what can go wrong’ of not having local government decision-making.
“We have opposition parties running for local government because of too many local councils,” Ms Hall said.
The election was conducted on Saturday, October 19.
More than 8500 votes were cast, with 368 people participating in the election.
