The business community has been calling for reform for years, but the GOP is a minority in both houses of Congress. Not only do the current tax code provisions benefit the wealthiest Americans and harm the middle class, the tax code is not rational.

Businesses face more than 60 special-interest tax breaks, penalties, and loopholes. Companies need to spend more than $1 million to claim a tax credit on their taxes. The U.S. tax code creates perverse incentives to invest in innovation, promote research and development, create jobs, and grow.

These new demands for relief come at a time when U.S. businesses are beginning to see opportunities to invest and expand abroad. As corporate tax rates decline abroad, more and more U.S. companies are seeking to compete in foreign markets for the first time.

U.S. businesses have made more than $1.8 trillion in new investment abroad since 2009, but they are still waiting for the Trump administration to give them the certainty they need to expand outside our borders.

The Committee for the Disappeared and Families of the Disappeared, announced that it had terminated the contract with the John Merriman Project for the maintenance of the Reunification Database (RDB) due to non-performance.

“Mr John Merriman was very frustrated with the John Merriman Project and now he wants to start a new project based on the RDB.

“We do not want the John Merriman Project to use the names of the disappeared and their children and grandchildren and to use the addresses of their family.

“We want that Mr Merriman must prepare the Appeal of Pre-trial Detention, according to the relevant provisions of the law,” said Mathieson.

“We are now waiting for his response. It is still unclear to us how he will take this issue forward.

“We hope that Mr John Merriman will come to the Committee and explain himself,” said Mathieson.

“We are still investigating how the John Merriman Project used the names of the disappeared and their children and grandchildren and the addresses of their families.

“We will not tolerate the use of our database for other purposes,” said Mathieson.

“We are shocked by the approach of Mr Merriman,” said Mathieson.

“The Committee has no intention of leaving the databases which are prepared by other organisations on the internet.

“We want that the database can be used only by the Committee,”
