Coin Crypt is about melding two mechanics I love: deckbuilding and tactical strategy. I wanted to create something that feels challenging but not impossibly so, where you need to keep learning and adapting throughout the game, as the number of strategies you need to employ increases. I feel a game that has more room for strategy is a much more satisfying experience, and was very important to me.
This initially started out as a bit of a prototype, but it’s also my first game. That said, I think it still turned out really well. I’m considering developing my first full-length game on a bigger engine.

Mac OS X key event for special characters?

I have been looking for a key event for special characters like « (euro sign), « (long “left-pointing angle quotation mark”), « (long “right-pointing angle quotation mark”) for quite some time now. I know that there is a “meta” key, but it is not working for me. Also, I cannot find any key event to write « by using Applescript.
Does anybody know an Applescript solution for this?

You can use Characters.app to access Apple’s Character Viewer.

You can’t access them using AppleScript directly.
However, you can use Apple’s Character Viewer in an Automator workflow with AppleScript as follows.

Save the below script as EditorWorkflow.app/Contents/MacOS/EditorWorkflow:
