Star Tactics Redux is a free remake of the classic Star Tactics. Wanting to maintain the experience of the previous version, but bringing some further improvements, like new graphics, music and gameplay. As well as additional content like new maps, ships and special abilities.
Game play:
A classic turn-based tactics game with a top-down perspective. You control a fleet of space-fleets, facing each other with your fleet, organizing your strategy for each battle. Your tactic is very simple: destroy the enemy fleet.
Your strategy is: attack with missiles and torpedoes, fly around the battlefield, manoeuvre, bank, dodge, use your special abilities, avoid enemy attacks and think about the energy of your fleet.
And that’s it. There is no more.
You can see important information on the screen about your ships and enemy ships, their health, weapons, special abilities, power, warp-speed, missiles and torpedoes. You can also get detailed information about the enemy fleets, its weapons, energy, status and can click to see the positions of your ships. You can also go to the overview to see your entire fleet.
Map:
You control a fleet of space-fleets in the Star Wars universe. Star Wars is a huge universe, so this game contains 9 maps; The Death Star map, X-Wing maps, Y-Wing maps and one Hoth map. All maps have many obstacles like asteroids, nebulas, gas-fields, debris and much more.
Each map has a different victory condition, like destroying all the enemy units, destroying their capital, disrupting their warp gate, disabling their shield generators, damaging their shield generators or bombing their capital. The campaign has different ways of achieving the victory.
Missions:
There are several game modes, namely campaign and skirmish. In the campaign you control the same Commander as in Star Tactics and you fly different ships with a special, randomized ability at each level. At the end of each campaign map you can unlock a new way of achieving the victory. In skirmish you do not control your Commander and you play as the AI Commander, so tactics are done by the AI, giving you a chance to see everything the AI Commander does.
Stuff about gaming:
Star Tactics is a hardcore tactical game, that means you play the game with an actual strategy, for hours, it is not a quick 15 minutes game.

Here’s the story.

Your new identity is a young boy named Jack.  He lives a normal life and has not seen any demons until recently.
On the day of Jack’s Birth, he finds that his town has become a strange and desolate place. 
They’re experiencing a magic power outage, strange creatures are appearing, and the town’s residents are terrified.
Things continue to get worse and worse as time passes and the creatures start to even more ruthless.
One day, Jack’s mother and father go missing.
Jack refuses to accept his parents’ disappearance and leaves his house and starts to explore the world. 
There are strange creatures everywhere and he learns that none of them are good. He has no idea what to do. 
Then one day, while exploring the city, he finds a girl named Maggie. 
She’s living in a skyscraper which appears to be infested with some sort of monsters and she’s the only person inside.
Maggie is terrified of everything outside but Jack seems to fascinate her and she forgets all about her fears.
Together Jack and Maggie start to explore the world. 
Jack and Maggie learn about the demons, their origins, and how they’ve started to arise. 
They learn that they will continue to arise until the power of good beats the power of evil. 
But it doesn’t look like that will happen any time soon….

What does Erannorth Chronicles DLC contain?

The Erannorth Chronicles expansion contains a number of new features that are available on the Store. Not only do you receive 400 new cards, but you also get the following: 65 new quests and challenges!
