Look what I’m building, and you don’t have to buy it! This is my build of the greatest gametype ever! It’s a custom map made as a homage to Supremacy. You can load maps on Supremacy and everytime you hit the button you get transported to a different world on Supremacy. You can get to them all with multiple Avatars. I wanted to make a very simple game that can be designed with icons and uploaded to the App Store. I learned that I couldn’t use any of the Apple Graphics so I decided to use the graphics from the vector game “StarFire” which is designed by Freepixel. I also made a simulator for the iPad’s app.
For this project I used:

The game itself :

Your snake eats the food for as long as it can. Then, a red circle appears and the player has to guess if it’s left or right. If he gets it right, then the snake will be killed. But if he gets it wrong, then the snake grows and the creature gets bigger and bigger, and so will the food circle. And eventually the circle will fill up, and the game will be over. The more levels you play, the more sequences there are and more levels there are for you, until you get the hardest level of the game :

You can play in only one game mode by selecting it from a menu at the Start screen.

There are 4 game modes:

New

Have a go at the first level of the game with a health bar and a score history.

If you like it, here’s another easy level. Play more if you like. Activate your Achievements to see them.

Classic

Play with the health bar and score history like in the first level of the game (but without a score to see).

No details were revealed to us, or anyone who has played the game, just that this game is about a man trying to free the dark Drifter of their suffering.
What are the Dark Drifter?
The Dark Drifter are people who have had their lives altered through a terrible and often fatal affliction. The physical toll on the mind and spirit of the Dark Drifter is one of immense suffering and need.
And How do You Help Them?
Your goal is to run The Energy Lab, a place to “temper” their pain, and allow them to transcend.
But There’s a Problem…
The Dark Drifter were held to a very high standard by their psychiatrist, causing them to face incredible anguish and suffering. The result was a collective memory loss, where they forgot many of their past experiences. Unfortunately, some have forgotten even their own name.
So You Have to Help Them, But What Do You Do?
The game starts by inviting you to “help” one of these Dark Drifter. As you help them, they’ll reveal their secret to you, but nothing more.
This Game is About Exploration
So as you explore you’ll find that it’s not about the short term goal of getting the Dark Drifter out of the Lab. It’s about exploring the Lab and meeting the people in it as you find your way out.
There’s a “Start” Button
We don’t want to reveal too much but this game is about exploration. Think of this as a guided exploration. You can jump from object to object and explore at your own pace, it’s all up to you.
This game does not follow a linear path. You are free to choose any path you want and explore any section you like.
We’re so sure that we’re not giving too much away that when we say we don’t want to reveal details, we’re not lying.
Game Mechanics:
Pick Things Up
The game is accessible in a virtual reality setting. However, you’re not limited to moving inside a cubicle. That being said, it’s a VR game, so you can pick things up and move them around!
Don’t Touch Anybody
This is a VR experience, and when you touch something you’ll hurt yourself. Make sure you move slowly and safely before touching anything.
