An old Gameboy game ported to the PC. It is a gliding game with the ability to fly, trying to reach the end of a level in the shortest time possible. If you die, you must wait for a period of time before being able to resume play. Its like Dark Souls for the Dudes.

The Basics of the Game:

This is a top-down game. There is a massive overhead view and you are given little to no information on how to play the game. You are left to figure it out by trial and error or reading up on the game.

The controls and gameplay are very simple. You are given a single, unnamed life and have a single flying wing. The controls are very straightforward and allow you to move left and right, accelerate, turn and drop bombs on enemies. You are also given several enemies to destroy. Each enemy is given a distinct type of attack, they can jump on you and move in a straight line, they can drop bombs, or shoot a projectile attack. You can attack multiple enemies in a row to keep them occupied while moving or gliding through their attacks.

Once you have flown through an enemy, the objective of the game is to pick up a rocket booster, which is the only source of health, and continue to the end of the level. Once you reach the end, you will unlock the next level.

The enemies and bosses in this game are varied and can pose quite a challenge. Some enemies have the ability to spawn bullets from their eyes, others can travel in a straight line and attack and the game ends when you are hit by multiple enemies.

Finally, the game is not timed, meaning it is not like a real-time game. Rather, the game will stop as long as you are alive. If you have time, you can easily be left in the game for 10+ minutes without any real worry of dying or losing.
