I had some time to kill before attending PAX in Seattle for PAX West and PAX East. I decided to sit down and play the brilliant Elden Ring, also known as The Elden Ring Game. Personally, I like the idea of YGO (the anime) and the like. So this game is one that I wanted to check out.

In the game, you play as a Tarnished Soul, and you can either journey with friends or connect to an offline session. This is a single player RPG in the vein of classic JRPGs. The land itself is reminiscent of the Lands Between from Kingdom Hearts. There are vast open areas and massive dungeons in the game. When you defeat enemies, you earn experience points to level up your characters.

Each class has different mechanics and unique summons that will help you in battle, but you can also fight alongside other class as a team. This game is an action RPG and should be brought to your attention if you enjoy story-driven single-player RPGs like FE (Final Fantasy) and KH (Kingdom Hearts).
