Delayed HIV-1 infection in a patient with a de novo B cell lymphoma–how could the virus have developed?
We describe the case of a patient who developed a B cell lymphoma several months after the onset of the HIV-1 infection. The diagnosis of AIDS was made one week later and the HIV-1 antibodies came out one month later. The lymphoma expressed coreceptors for both (CXCR4 and CCR5) and the patient was negative for the presence of other cellular receptors. The protease of the virus encoded by pol gene had a low level of protease activity, the virus was resistant to some antiretroviral drugs and the patient was resistant to several antiretrovirals. The transversion in codon 84 of the second exon of the reverse transcriptase (RT) gene that led to a drug-resistance phenotype was detected. This case shows the existence of a new kind of slow replicating HIV-1 that can induce de novo tumoral transformation. I have a UITableViewController that calls loadRequest which takes a request. This request includes HTML. How do I render a HTML view without using a content view?

The answers here are correct, but they don’t reflect the cleanest way. The top answer is effectively loading your html string directly to the view, which isn’t recommended.
I solved this by using the following:
grabbing the view if it exists, or creating it
grabbing the request if it exists, or creating it
grabbing the html of the request if it exists, or creating it
using the stringFromSource: method on NSString to convert the html string to a NSData object
using the data method to load the data to the view, like so:

pizza]]>Modern technology has made photography a rather easy task. Between smartphones and apps, there is a giant variety of options for taking images. Some of these have revolutionized the way we take photos, even though most are only available in “point and shoot” form.
Smartphones have made photography a lot easier. Camera apps available for the iPhone and Android (if you own either of those phones) allow for camera controls in apps. This is great because then all you need is your friends and a phone. And apps have tons of options for sharing images and printing them out.
But I fell back on my strengths, and decided to photograph my friends this week using your regular old camera (although I would recommend a smartphone if you can’t bring yourself to lug around your fancy DSLR).
I chose my three best friends, Tom, Armon, and Trent, to be the subjects for this week’s series. They were great sports about being photographed, and even posed in different ways and various ways of clothing; so even though I couldn’t use many of the automated features, I pulled it off.
It was a fun experience for me and I hope they’d enjoy you seeing my work on what I call their “friend walls”. I’ll post them as often as possible as soon as I get a chance to upload them from the phone. I’m gonna go. Oh well, next time I’m going to take the super duper fancy phone :).
