The situation has worsened in Kashmir valley due to the cause of poverty, political turmoil and effect of foreign powers and war. Most of the people do not have much money and resources. In this condition they are unable to live. The poor governance and the reduction of financial development and infrastructure have made the situation worse. The poor governance by the Indian state has resulted in increased migration from Kashmir Valley to the surrounding areas of the state and to other states of the country. People left their homes with no money or resources.

The existing situation has affected the level of education in Kashmir Valley. There is only three percent literacy rate in Kashmir Valley. Most of the people are dependent on the government for their basic necessities. The education system has suffered by the long war, political turmoil and migration. The government has not taken any step for development of education system. The poor governance has made the education system in Kashmir Valley the second lowest in the country. There is no physical infrastructure, proper classrooms or laboratories for teaching purposes. The government is not able to fulfill its duty as it was the responsibility of government. As a result the government has not taken steps for development of education system in Kashmir.

Kashmir Valley is a land of contradictions. It is a beautiful valley and there are rivers and natural places. But still poverty and poor governance is the most disturbing feature of its social condition. The poor governance is the cause of poverty in Kashmir Valley. It has made the people leave their homes. Due to the social problems people are unable to live. Kashmir is a land of rich natural resources and that is why the people of Kashmir have been struggling for independence. Still they are living in poverty and are unable to live a healthy life.Long-term data suggest we may need some mega-megaprojects to keep the growth going. The sun has entered the official news cycle once again.
