Right-click the mask and select Black & White > Colorize.
Step 5 – Erasing the black pixels
Go to Select > Color Range. With the Eyedropper tool, select the black pixels.

Go to Layers > Mask > Adjust Mask Size.
Select the mask. Adjust the slider until it’s small enough.
Step 7 – Adjusting the opacity of the mask
Select the mask layer. Go to Adjustment > Levels > Make Levels Darker.
Step 8 – Merge the layers together
Select the image layer. Go to the Layers panel and select Merge Down or Ctrl + M.
Step 9 – Correcting the image
Go to Image > Adjustments > Curves.
Adjust the curves.
Select your desired area on the image. You can use the Quick Selection tool to select an area and then use the mask from the previous step.
Go to Edit > Trim.
