Twittex is a Twitter client made in Flex. Includes some enhancements such as image uploading, url shorting, cool visual effects.

Twitter API Usage:

Twittex provides a UI for one of the most common use cases – retrieving the stream of tweets from Twitter. These Tweets, which are created by other Twitter users, are displayed in a window on the screen and can be scrolled through using the arrow keys on your keyboard or clicking on the scrollbars.

Twittex also allows you to use a number of internal ‘tags’ for a more personal style. These tags can be used to filter through the stream of Tweets and you can also configure the UI to’remember’ your filters as you enter them.

Simply review our demo @ It’s available and should work fine. Twittex can be used across platforms, no worrys about platform specific issues as we use flex 2.
You will have to unzip the twittex.zip file and run twittex.exe from the Demos directory to start the application

Just a reminder that we have a demo video setup at for Twittex. Its a Adobe Flex application that will run on Flash Builder 4.5 and Flex SDK 4.5, and we have a demo version setup to show you the results it provides as you use the client.
