Im trying to add one Json file to an array.
I have the following code:

var i = 0;
var arr = [];
var x = [“some text”, “some text2”];

for (i = 0; i < x.length; i++) {
var text = x[i];
var obj = {'text': text};
arr.push(obj);
console.log(arr);
}

What Im trying to do is to add one array called x to the arr and not have it overwritten.
I tried using append, push, splice, concat but I cant get it working.
I have also tried doing it with a for loop but then it overwrites the previous and the last one.
What Im trying to get is the following:
var arr = [{"text": "some text"},{"text": "some text2"}];

My attempt was with the for loop:
for (i = 0; i < x.length; i++) {
var text = x[i];
var obj = {'text': text};
arr.push(obj);
}
