Chords may be displayed either in tabular or chord grid format (just click on the window to the right).
If lyrics are available in the file, they can be displayed below the chords.
The program will read all available chord letters, and display the notes/chords of those letters.
All notes found are shown in the chord diagram as filled in-ticks.
If there are only a few notes or none at all found, no chord will be shown (nothing filled in).
The chord diagram can be saved as a picture, bitmap, or image file (.jpg,.bmp,.png,.tif,.eps,.tif, etc).
The MIDI file can be any type (instruments only, instruments + vocals, etc) as long as the song is done on a MIDI keyboard.
The chords can be displayed in either the key or actual pitch of the song.
Print Chords window:
To help you find a chord or note quickly, you can print out a chord diagram showing all the notes/chords found.
Print lyrics window:
Another helpful feature is a lyrics window that displays the lyrics to the file or song, and allows you to navigate to where you want to look.
Change the chord grid settings window:
The window for changing the chords can be accessed by clicking on the down arrow at the top of the window.
You can change the number of chords to display (default is one), the column size (default is 32) and the color of the notes in the chords.
The color is a reference to the chord type.
