The reported relationship of K+ and Na+ channel blockade and the reduced coronary flow response to both K+ channel blockade and vasodilatation by acetylcholine in our previous report and the present results indicate that the vasodilating and vasoconstrictor phases are mediated by Na+ and K+ channel-dependent pathways, respectively.
