ADP is a PHP-MySQL-based stand-alone local directory. ADP is intended to be the first of several DMOZ/Google clones. Based on years of experience with DMOZ and Google, ADP has been designed to facilitate the use of these web search engines. ADP is a completely free, easily configurable, local indexing/directory project.
ADP is not meant as a replacement for commercial search engines. ADP is simply intended to be a local version of the DMOZ and Google indexes. A prototype of ADP went live in January, 2000. ADP is currently in alpha testing. ADP is completely configurable and will eventually offer the ability to set your own XHTML and CSS template.
