The present invention relates to a display device, more particularly, to a display device having a function of removing reflected light and preventing a malfunction caused by reflected light, such as a liquid crystal display (LCD).
2. Description of the Related Art
Generally, in a transmissive-type display device such as an LCD, a light source, such as a backlight, is positioned behind the display device. The display device has a function of adjusting light transmitted through a display surface by an optical film, and a function of adjusting light reflected from the display surface by a reflection film or a reflection plate. The LCD is one of the most versatile and widespread display devices because of its smaller size, lighter weight, and lower power consumption than other display devices, such as a cathode-ray tube (CRT).
Conventionally, a reflection film and/or a reflection plate have been used to prevent light from being reflected from the display surface of the display device. For example, the reflection film or the reflection plate is positioned on the display surface of the display device, or a prism sheet is stacked on the display surface.
