The current versions of AutoCAD LT (Rev.14) and AutoCAD 360 (Rev.2) are available in the App Store, Google Play Store and the Microsoft Store for Microsoft Windows and iOS/Android devices. In addition to AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT, Autodesk also markets Dimension and Space Designer.
AutoCAD is not an open source tool. However, there are Autodesk’s free-of-charge, non-proprietary AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD 360 apps and extensions for iOS, Android and Microsoft Windows, which allow users to connect with the AutoCAD LT and AutoCAD 360 applications on their device.
Additionally, there are various third-party sources that provide AutoCAD LT for Linux and MacOS, and AutoCAD 360 for MacOS and Linux.

AutoLISP (Automatic LISP) is a high-level language based on LISP. It supports a full programming language with full object-oriented capabilities. The language syntax is similar to that of BASIC, and the “.” (period) is the same as in other languages such as Pascal. The entire programming language is on a single line.
The language can be used to automate AutoCAD as well as other applications, such as MS Excel.
Most of the commands used in AutoCAD are written in this language. With AutoCAD, more than half of the available macros are written in this language.
This language is also known as “object oriented programming”. Objects are called “AutoLISP blocks” and can be used to store data, functions, and programs.
