Angular 2: how to get data from api from multiple conditions

I’m making a web app which to get report data from api. Now, my problem is how can I show the data at a time only one condition is satisfied. Here is the data in the api:
Products: [{id: 1, label: ‘Pencil’, color: ‘Red’, cost: 15}, {id: 2, label: ‘Paint Brush’, color: ‘Blue’, cost: 40}, {id: 3, label: ‘Paper’, color: ‘Brown’, cost: 4}, {id: 4, label: ‘Crayon’, color: ‘Yellow’, cost: 60}]

My query is, show the report data only if the color condition is satisfied.
How can I approach to do this?
My code to query the api:
constructor(private http: Http) { }

getProducts(): Observable {
return this.http.get(“”)
.map(response => response.json());
}
}

A:

If I understood correctly you need to check for each item in the array if it has a color, if it does you need to return it, if it doesnt you need to return undefined.
The cleanest way is to create an array of data that contains an extra property, the status (which should be 0, 1, 2, undefined or null for each item in the array.
The item can be filtered by status and show the items where status == 2 (which is your condition):
const data = [{id: 1, label: ‘Pencil’, color: ‘Red’, cost: 15},
{id: 2, label: ‘Paint Brush’, color: ‘Blue’, cost: 40},
{id: 3, label: ‘Paper’, color: ‘Brown’, cost: 4},
{id: 4, label: ‘Crayon’, color: ‘Yellow’, cost: 60}]

const status = [1, 1
