The players play with the particles colliding, essentially a ‘beam me up, Scotty’ thing. The game uses a physics engine, although i’d like to say that with the physics engine it’s used its an order of magnitude more clever than that…
Anyway, as someone who would rather sit down and enjoy a good book than an arcade game, I find this one quite simple to play. There are 2 types of gameplay, ‘Thinker Mode’ and ‘Combat Mode’.
In Thinker Mode, you can ‘Think’ about how to eliminate the Element Synthesis, and in Combat Mode the player will have to try to survive until you reach the end of the game.
Also, the game is only played inside a ‘wrapped’ arena, meaning that you can only move inside the arena, and to a point defined by the player. You can not move outside the Arena, to the size of the arena is called’maze size’. The maze size also determines the size of the arena.
The arena wraps around, and will show on the left of the players screen, where the player can see a map of the player, which shows the surrounding elements.
The game also takes advantage of its physics engine, to lets you interact with the surroundings and objects around the player.
Also, it has leaderboards, for everyone to enjoy. Keep in mind that everyone plays with the same set of elements at the same time.
