It is a game in the style of an RPG, but there is a twist, every time you die, you are put back at the beginning of the level, and the whole level is generated, to make it fun and new every time.

Lessons Learned

What we learned from making this game

The first thing that we learned is: Every mistake you make, every bug you find, every time you make something that is not right (even if it is just 1 letter wrong), is a learning experience.

This is something we already knew but just didn’t take into account because we are so used to do things the same way, until now we are doing things in a better way.

But also with that, we learned how to be more organized and efficient when doing things, and put things in a better way to get things done in the most efficient way possible.

We learned how to improve the overall quality of the game, and the overall presentation.

We learned how to be innovative with the game mechanics, and if there is something we just don’t like (even if it’s a small thing), we won’t make it.

We learned how to streamline the development process, we designed many layers and systems to make things easier (we are learning still how much things we can get away with, but we are learning).

We are learning how to make things that are complex, simple, but it’s not boring.

Issues

Sometimes it’s hard to answer “is it a bug or an issue?” as with every design issue, and this can be a complicated matter, especially if it’s in the data field or in something that is connected to server side things.

Generally we try to keep them as issues, unless we have a better idea, but also, if we can fix it and don’t, we will mark it as an issue

    Malcolm Turnbull and Joe Hockey face yet another week of media scrutiny after both refused to rule out changes to Australia’s family benefits system.

    Prime Minister Turnbull reneged on promised change to Work for the Dole after a coalition vote – a vote he cost in 2012 – while Joe Hockey has refused to explain his comments that changes have not been ruled out.

    In a short exchange at Question Time on Monday evening Hockey hit out at the media for what he described as “manufacturing” the ABC suggestion that he planned to abolish Work for the Dole.

    “I’ve not stopped Work for the Dole. I want to abolish Work for the Dole,” the treasurer said.

    “Labor are looking to expand the number of payments for parents to up to $1500 a week. $1500 a week to deal with families in outer suburbs.”

    So far, Labor has rejected any suggestions of abolition of Work for the Dole.

    Moreover, in his statement at the Separation of Powers, Tom Howe gave a very clear indication that Work for the Dole would continue into the future.

    A few friends and I were working on a small little game. It has only one mode but we hope to add another in the future! the idea is to kill as much zombies as possible!

    hey guys this is the tool i created to allow you to make your own maps!

    you create a new map using the toolbar at the top, type it into the search bar and hit enter, while its being created you can preview it in the chat by pressing ‘p’ (this is all not needed on the beta, so im making it ) you can also see the current map number and map name. on the bottom of the map view you can make changes to the map, press map 1 to undo a change, hit map 2 to delete a map etc. feel free to use my tool!

    how to use it:
    – download the.zip file with the map i created for dodge it!
    – click download, save the downloaded.zip file somewhere on your harddrive
    – open the.zip file with a file manager!
    – open and double click the dodge it! folder!

    after saving the map as you want, the map will show up in the bottom of the map view!

    you can make your own maps by following the instructions in the read me file or use this link for directions:

    “Feel the Snow” is a song written by Art Jennings and Tara Vanflower (Vanstone), and recorded by American country music artist Sara Evans.     In the third verse, the singer notes the similarity between the way her husband treats her and how her husband’s ex-wife treats her and promises to leave him.     Music video
    The music video was directed by Brad Miska and premiered in May 1999. It shows Evans sitting in the rain. She dances in front of the raindrops, but doesn’t get soaked. In the ends, as the rain increases, the song (“Feel the Snow”) continues with a more upbeat tempo and increases the storm. She then reels in the sun.

    Finally Version 1.0.1.0 released today. Still, not all bugs have been fixed, especially 3.0 and 4.0. Furthermore there will be no new features before 1.0.1.1. So, you get a new version and new bugs. Have fun!
