The B.C. Greens, led by Andrew Weaver, is going to run in the 2018 election.

There are the usual motivations for opposition parties to try to form government.

But at a time when public cynicism about politics is at an all-time high, now is the time to build a viable alternative to the Liberals and NDP.

By focusing on good progressive politics, not just ads and gossip mongering, the B.C. Greens can build a credible political movement, and then through government, continue to put those good progressive policies into action.

Andrew Weaver’s Greens are very much about progress and what’s next, whether it’s fixing transit or implementing electoral reform.

From the beginning, one of the goals of the B.C. Greens has been to not be just a party.
