○ 1. Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I am the Development Manager for AION, and responsible for bringing AION into the living world. I am also the leader of communication and relationship between the “AIO community”, and the development team.

○ 2. What inspired you to come up with this game?

I was inspired by the deep connection with the Hero’s journey, which is a topic I was highly interested in. While doing the research, I was impressed by the game’s dynamic graphical representation, and started to think, “How can I make an action RPG that has these kind of graphics?” and followed its development from there.

○ 3. What is the goal for AION?

AION wants to build a game with a new take on the genre; an action RPG with a strong story focus.

When you think of Japanese role-playing games, the name of Square Enix’s (now Square Enix Ltd.) classic Final Fantasy can probably be put together the first thing that comes to your mind.
