I’m a “graphic designer” and I have to admit I don’t have the time or patience to try it.
I found a few things I have to like:
I like how it looks for starters. It really looks like a music composer.
I could not find an iTunes like interface to it, or any big music libraries with music. I can only browse the music content I have in my files and folders. Maybe I missed it.
I don’t know if it has a lot of limitations, but I don’t think it’s a big deal for me.
EDIT: I found it… It’s a simple Audio Library kind of thing.
Open canorus.app → Contents → Audio Library

This is a free, cross-platform music notation editor. It’s very simple and intuitive to use. It’s not like other music editors because it doesn’t require a computer science degree to use. It’s designed to be extremely simple to use.
The program is developed by Alexandre Vaigneur. He used to develop a music notation software for the iPhone called NotePiano.
You can get it for free in the Google Play Store. It’s regularly updated, but there’s a bug or two like most free apps.
