In its “classic” version, this is what you get:

Ease of use
I can’t speak for ProTools but I can speak for Cubase.
Cubase is extremely easy to use. So much so, in fact, that most of my working life is spent in Cubase; I use ProTools only when I need to do something that Cubase can’t or won’t do.
I can teach it to people who have never heard of it in about 10 minutes, for example.
That being said, I’m not a huge fan of Cubase; it has a lot of really annoying features, because once you’re used to working in some other DAW, these make it easy to leave.
I use VSTs mainly. I use ProTools in a DAW, but most of my music is written in MSP, Cubase, FL, and a bunch of other DAWs.
Of those, the most similar is probably Cubase. It has the best-sounding EQ I’ve ever used, the same compressor and phase shifter algorithms used in the vintage and ProTools emulations of the effect, and the ability to chain a compressor, parametric EQ, and gate effect together as a single instrument in the midi editor.
The main thing it lacks (in my opinion), is multi-track buffering and velocity riding, but then again, Cubase has more multi-track editing (ie, being able to create a second track to a mic or instrument in the midi editor), and it’s probably more frustrating.
User interface
If I’m using Cubase, I use Cubase’s interface. If I’m using FL, I use FL’s interface. If I’m using a different DAW, I use its interface.
The thing is, they all have their positives and negatives. My personal preference is FL’s. They use a single tabbed interface, so all of your effects are in the same tab. This makes it very easy to add effects to your sound (with pre-set effects, but also with your own).
Because they don’t use a separate track window, you don’t need to worry about

The pathophysiology of gastroparesis has not been completely understood. Diabetic gastroparesis is a complication that has not been well understood. The aim of the present study was to investigate the pathophysiology of gastroparesis in a rat model of diabetes.

Four weeks old male Wistar rats were divided into three groups, each with 8 animals. Group 1 received intraperitoneal streptozotocin (STZ) injections at 60 mg/kg. Group 2 animals received subcutaneous paraffin oil injections following STZ injections. Group 3 animals were normal controls. Serial gastric emptying studies were performed weekly after the injections using an acetaminophen test.

On the 4th week after the injections, gastric emptying in the diabetic rats were significantly delayed (p\Q:

What’s New in the BattleComp Vintage?

About a hundred parents, teachers, and school board members from the South Shore gathered in Boston’s Walsh Park this week for an open dialogue about school crime, to examine the recent rise in incidents and talk about what can be done about them.

Speaking on a panel titled, “Unarmed and Alone: School Crime is on the Rise in South Shore,” the group discussed the issue and how they’re attempting to make the school district better.

Experts that spoke in the forum revealed that, since last year, there’s been a 20% increase in emergency calls to South Shore schools, while the number of confirmed school crime incidents has risen by 50% across the board.

Some of the concerns raised include: youth using cell phones as weapons, broken windows, and the fact that the district is lacking proper security.

Frank Sennott, a School Safety Specialist at Sabinas High School, discussed his own experience with the issue, citing his own three-year-old daughter’s high-profile abduction last year.

“I would walk my daughter to school every day before that. And the day that she was abducted, I looked at her and she was totally safe,” Sennott said. “I don’t think I’m any different than other parents. I think most parents would be in a panic until they figure out who to call.”

He said that his strong recommendation would be to take these incidences as serious matters that require immediate, professional attention.

“If we don’t have cops and fire men and women in uniform with the appropriate training and authority with their own tools, then we’re not going to deal with it very well,” Sennott said.

“Safety can’t be a preventative plan. It’s something that once the phone rings, you have to make a decision and deal with the consequences as they come,” he added.

One of the main reasons for the increase in school crime incidents may be the “heinous acts of a few,” said Sennott.
