Installation and compatibility
Before you can use the application, you need to ensure that your PC is capable of running Java Runtime Environment, and you need to download it here.
As for compatibility, AMB requires Java Runtime Environment 7u65 or higher, or Java Runtime Environment 6 Update 45, and will then be able to run.
When it comes to visual design, there are two files necessary, one for the main window and one for the settings window. You’ll find both in the application’s main folder.
The main window is the main container of the program, and it looks like the image below, right from the moment the application is launched.
The application is pretty easy to use, and the user interface follows the simple color scheme, so there are no unnecessary details about what it can and can’t do. That aside, you’ll also find a variety of tools that are essential when it comes to using AMB, like options to adjust audio settings.
The main panel can be found at the left side, and it features four tabs, marked with icons. Playing icons, they allow you to operate the playback control, pause playback, or change track and fade out. Two other icons are necessary to configure settings, or to open the properties window.
The playback control is found at the top of the panel, and it is made up of three controls, a button to reset filters, a line that can be dragged on the grid to mark the current audio frequency, and a slider that controls the attenuation level. The higher the level, the more significant the sound will be played. There are two more under the playback control, with one that manages volume, and another to select the frequency range. All in all, you’ll find a fairly easy navigation method, which is made even easier by the fact that the application is capable of using hotkeys.
Setting tabs are pretty easy to navigate, and include a slider, which is used to adjust the sound volume or fade out, three lines for audio frequencies, and the properties tab, which features a slider
