The driver queue stores a driver queue of each print device, and is initialized when the device driver of the print device is installed, cleaned when the driver is uninstalled. The driver queue is published to the service library, which is the print driver queue in the service library. The user does not need to manage the driver queue for print device. The service application manages the service library of each print driver queue in the system.
The service library and application are quite small compared to the driver, but when the driver is installed or updated, both the service library and service application is very large. The service application is always maintained with the driver. So if you uninstall the driver, the service application and service library are removed. If you don’t use the driver, service application and service library is not need.
The service application is in an auto start state. When the service application is started, the application is registered to the service control manager. In the service library, the service control manager connects to the service application of the driver queue. And the service application and service library automatically control that driver queue.
