Layering: The Layers System
Layers work like windows. They are individual elements of the final image that can be edited, moved, or combined with other layers to create new layers. Each layer includes a single image, shape, or text, or a collection of these elements. In addition, you can combine layers to create virtual copies of those layers and apply settings to the new layers. You can see a sample screen shot of the Layers panel in Figure 5-1.

In Photoshop, layers appear in the Layers panel (refer to Figure 5-1) along with the layer’s name, and there’s a small icon to the right of the layer’s name that you can use to display, hide, or duplicate it.
You can move a layer to any location on the image. You can also merge layers, move them into other layers, or apply adjustment layers. The following sections show you how to perform these actions and some other editing tasks.

Arnold Aislinger
Dr. Arnold Aislinger (1877–1947) was a prominent urologist at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Aislinger was a pioneer in the diagnosis and treatment of male impotence.
Early life and education
Aislinger was born August 28, 1877 in Baltimore, Maryland. He attended the public schools, and later, the Johns Hopkins University, where he received his medical degree in 1906.
Career
He completed postgraduate study at the Johns Hopkins University Hospital and the Johns Hopkins Medical School.
Aislinger received the Billings Medal from the American Medical Association in 1911 for his papers on pyelonephritis. In 1916 he was named resident in urology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, and three years later, he became professor of urology. In 1930 he became the chief of urology.
Aislinger developed and advocated penis pump method of treating impotence. In 1930 he became a member of the American Urological Association. He published about 20 books and pamphlets, the most famous of which was The Erection and Ejaculation Problem and Treatment, published in 1931.
Aislinger died August 3, 1947.

How to implement a “comment” system for my app
I am working on a mobile application that has “posts” in it. There will be comments associated with each post. My question is how to make the comment process work effectively and have some efficient design.
If I have something like the following
Post 1:
a: John Smith
b: commented on your post
Post 2:
a: John Smith
b: commented on your post
Post 3:
a: Andy Smith
b: commented on your post
How should I go about handling these comments? Should I have a list for each Post? Should I have a separate list for all of the comments made? Right now I have a separate table for comments (table comments) and another table for Posts (table Posts)
Any help would be great!

I’m not sure if it’s a technical question, but _I’m_ perfectly able to
consciously choose my ethics, and I do not have any one of the kind you’d
expect to find anywhere from theists. I’m an atheist, and proud of it.
Perhaps another way of phrasing it would be: I believe that morality is a
human invention. If you’re bothered about how other people are choosing to
impose it on themselves, perhaps you should ask: _why_ are _you_ imposing it
on yourself?

formal answer, so I’ll just offer my _immediate_ reaction.
