[url= load average pc[/url] zabbix server load average with hostname
Zabbix is a powerful system management solution that comes with a complete monitoring system. A Zabbix server hosts an agent that receives events from various hosts and gather data from them. The agent stores these data into databases for further use. It can be used to monitor various aspects of your network and your hardware.
System monitoring in Zabbix
Zabbix works under the Open Source license and is designed to be easy to use. You can configure it for numerous applications such as load balancing, network monitoring, etc. Zabbix also includes alerts. A Zabbix server enables you to create so called zabbix items that are reports with a set of parameters.
You can use this item to produce customized reports. All Zabbix servers process items in parallel and you can run hundreds of items without affecting performance.
In this way Zabbix can serve as a system monitoring solution.
Zabbix Server load average according to hostname
Load average is a benchmark used to measure the amount of utilization of a system. It is used to estimate how much the system can perform. Load is usually measured in units of the number of tasks waiting for data from the system.
Briefly, the load average refers to the number of processes that are awaiting data from the system. For more information about Zabbix load average, see Zabbix load average according to hostname.
Example: Consider a zabbix server that is connected to two web servers. Web servers can be considered as items in Zabbix. In this case, the load average of the zabbix server can be calculated using the following formula…
Load average = (web servers – 2) / 2 / (items in the last month / 30)
This will give you the average load of the zabbix server in a given period of time.

JPA: Correct entity object configuration?
I’m a newbie to JPA and JDO. I have a problem which should be simple to answer, but I’m finding it difficult.
I’m using SpringJPA and I have a POJO called Project, which is annotated with @Entity. That class also implements Serializable so I can persist/return it.
In Spring I have a service layer which handles data persistence operations and is mapped to Project. In this class I have two functions:
1) addProject(Project project)
2) updateProject(Project project)
These functions in turn call EntityManager.merge(Project project) to “persist” the object. Both functions return a boolean indicating whether the operation was successful.
I’m struggling with the ‘correct’ way of extending the type of data saved by updateProject().
I’ve tried various things but they’re all either messy or don’t produce the expected results. I find that when updateProject() is called the object in the JDO container does not contain all fields that are present in the object passed to it. But I can’t find out where this additional data comes from (where it seems to be allocated from).
If I use a helper method to populate project = em.merge(project) then all fields are present in the object, regardless of what it was originally.
I realise this might seem like a very simple question and I apologise for my ignorance.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
Edit: Sorry, I didn’t explain properly.
I’m really puzzled by this. If I create a Project, add it to the container and then use merge on it, it works fine. When I use the helper method (project = em.merge(project)) I also get all the fields but the changes don’t get merged in. So the helper method is clearly good, but why is that
